Ausdance Victoria was founded in 1977 and is the sole peak body for dance in Victoria and plays a key role in providing high-level strategic advice and visions for the sector. Ausdance Victoria supports individuals, companies and organisations in a coherent ecology of arts services. It enables members and partners to flourish, creating ecology of arts services. 1.Seeking passionate Dance Education and Admin professionals 

Ausdance Victoria is looking to develop a pool of specialists for our education program. These are casual, project-based paid positions across different pay scales depending on project, skill level and duration. Expressions of Interest are invited for

  1. Administration SupportImmediate Start (minimum 2-4 years of experience in an admin position)

  2. Dance Teachers (various levels of teaching experience) 

  3. Education Resource Specialists (minimum 5 years of teaching experience)

2. Dance Development Officer, Ausdance Victoria

Ausdance Vic is looking for an all-rounder to drive its programs and play an active role in advocacy and development of the dance sector. The Dance Development Officer is responsible for Project Management, Advocacy and Development and supporting Marketing and Operations in line with the organisation’s vision.

We are looking for creative individuals with an analytical mind-set, strong administrative and project management skills with experience in the dance industry.

3. General Manager: Ausdance Victoria and General Manager Ausdance NSW

Ausdance is looking for two exceptional individuals to be our new General Managers in Victoria and NSW respectively.

The General Manager position is a leadership role within our organisation, a peak body for promoting dance in Australia. If you are an administrator with over 10 years of experience in budgeting and financial management, staff managemen and grant writing and fundraising, this could be the role for you.

A background in arts administration is desired but not essential.

We are looking for driven individuals who are looking to enhance their existing strategic leadership experience and take the next steps in their career by leading our organisation to its next phase of success.
