Ausdance Victoria was founded in 1977 and is the sole peak body for dance in Victoria and plays a key role in providing high-level strategic advice and visions for the sector. Ausdance Victoria supports individuals, companies and organisations in a coherent ecology of arts services. It enables members and partners to flourish, creating ecology of arts services. The RTO and Education Coordinator is a part time position reporting to Ausdance Victoria’s Director of Education and Lifelong Learning. The RTO and Education Coordinator manages the delivery of nationally registered training programs offered by Ausdance Victoria. This includes administration of the student management system and ensuring the RTO meets all reporting obligations.

Position: Part time (0.6 to 0.8EFT) with regular hours of the week to be negotiated.

Salary range: $57,000 - $62,000 per annum pro-rata + 9.5% superannuation contribution

Duration: Position commences early June 2019 to 31 December 2020. Extension dependent on funding (as per other positions within the organisation).

We are looking for spectacular volunteers to help deliver the Australian Youth Dance Festival (AYDF) 2019

In partnership with Youth Dance Australia, Ausdance presents the Australia Youth Dance Festival – International 2019, 7-12 July. Titled Revolutions Per Minute (rpm), and taking place multiple across venues in Melbourne – Transit Dance Studios, Meat Market, Siteworks and others (TBC) – this year’s festival brings together youth dance companies from around the world for a week of cultural and creative exchange, gala performances and forums, with an industry Think Tank program for dance leaders, educators and professionals. 

We are on the lookout for intuitive, reliable and fast-paced volunteers to join our team.  

This is a great opportunity to gain valuable events industry experience and to work with the peak body of dance in Australia. We have a number of exciting roles including production assistants, ushers, ticketing & registration and bar staff. You don’t need to be available for the whole festival; Volunteers will only be expected to commit to minimum of 2-3 short shifts across the week. All volunteers will receive an AYDF t-shirt and a ticket to the Revolutions Per Minute Gala Performance dress rehearsal.
