International Exchange 2019

Alongside AYDF International 2019, international youth dance companies can apply to collaborate with an Australian youth dance company in their hometown, either before or after the Festival.

This is an opportunity for like-minded companies from different parts of the world to work together intimately and intensively, to develop global partnerships and seed new international works and projects.

Consider potential matches for your company in terms of ethos and artistry, as well as logistics (location, costs etc.) View a profile of a dance company by clicking on the links below.

  2. Make contact with a potential partner company
    Contact details for each Australian company are listed on their page. You are welcome to contact the Australian companies if you have any questions about their Exchange program. Please note that all applications must be made through the International Exchange form.

  1. Applications will be received by the AYDF International team.

  2. Partnerships will be reviewed by the AYDF International team in consultation with the individual companies. Australian companies may receive multiple requests to partner.

  3. AYDF International will make Exchange offers by mid-November. On acceptance of an Exchange offer, you will need to work out the details of your Exchange including dates, travel and accommodation with your Partner company.

  4. All Exchange related expenses are the responsibility of the Youth Dance companies. Dancers participating in the Exchange must also attend the Festival (7- 12 July).
